Challenges – Check out each challenge for specific rules on how to compete. A lot of the challenges are to be submitted in your confessionals so just remember to post them there. The majority of the challenges will be 24 hours long. However, some will last longer - see specific challenge for details. There are three different types of challenges that will take place this season…
Non-Live: The challenge will last 24 hours and you are not required to show up on time.
Semi-Live: The challenge will last 24 hours, but being here on time would be very beneficial.
Live: The challenge will probably not last 24 hours so it would be in your best interest to show up on time. These challenges will likely take place on SKYPE.
Confessionals – Update your confessionals at least twice each round – it doesn't have to a two-hour movie, just short and sweet videos explaining your game. This is your forum to let us know your thoughts and plots and a good way of saying “I told you so” to other players once the game is finished. I may even ask some simple questions every now and then to pick your brains a little. Just remember, if you keep your confessional updated, you will be more likely to make All-Stars. Your confessionals will also hold your Voting Thread (see Voting).
Hosts – I, as the host, reserve the right to change or add to the rules as I see fit (everyone will be notified if something does change). I am here to host the game and enjoy watching how it plays out - not to use my authority and information to influence the results. All of the challenges and twists have been predetermined and the only reason anything would change is if anyone gets removed/quits. In those cases, we will simply get rid of challenges. My Private Message name is “admin”. My Skype name is brandon.clark2012. Please feel free to contact me any time with any questions or just to talk - I'm usually pretty easy to get in touch with!<3
Jury – We will notify the players in the game once everyone has reached the jury. We'd like for jury members to keep updated with the game so that you can use your jury powers to the fullest. We don’t have a strict guideline for posting, but please post enough to let us know that you’re around. If you go MIA or need to leave the game, you may give up or lose your spot on the jury. The hosts may try to keep the jury house lively by asking questions to try to get everyone’s opinion, so please take note and be as active as you can.
Losers – If you are a “loser” in the game – aka someone who doesn’t make the jury – please stay at least somewhat aware of the game. You never know when you may get a chance to join the jury if someone quits or goes MIA.
Communication – Communication with players on different tribes is strictly PROHIBITED! It makes the game much more realistic if people do not talk to other tribes. If I catch you doing so, you will be questioned and, most likely, removed. No questions asked!
Respect – Be mindful and respectful to your fellow players and the hosts. If the hosts have any reason to suspect that you’re cheating, the situation will be investigated and consequences WILL be given out. If you are caught cheating, you WILL be removed from the game.
Ties – In the event of a tie, there will be a re-vote in which only the tied Survivors can be voted for. If there is still a tie after the re-vote, the tie will be broken based on a tie-breaker challenge. That will continue all the way until the finale. If there is a tie at the Final Judgement, the third place finisher will break the tie.
Transfer of Survival – If you win individual survival and would like to give it to someone else, you must say so in the Judgement Thread before the voting deadline (preferably as soon as possible after Judgement is posted). If survival is transferred, I will give everyone another 24 hours in order to review and/or change their votes.
Judgement – Please refer to the Judgement area for more specific information on how it will be held. Some Judgement Ceremonies will take place LIVE on Skype. See specific Judgement ceremonies for more information on those events.
Voting – Votes will be cast in a thread in your confessional. Use the same voting thread throughout the entire game. Please refer to the Voting thread that is already posted in your confessional for details about voting each round. Your vote will not count if it is turned in past the voting deadline. If you fail to vote on time, I will pull your vote from your boot list. If I have to pull from that list twice in a row, you will be removed from the game. If you would like to change your vote, you may do so as many times as you would like before the deadline. However, if all votes are in early, I reserve the right to post results early. So if you are going to change your vote, please do so at a reasonable time or let me know so I know to wait.
Boot Lists - I do not like to see any self-votes. For that reason, I am making a boot list required. You can update this list as many times as you like, but you must post one. If you fail to post a boot list before the first challenge, you will receive a disadvantage for your tribe until it is posted. If I have to pull your vote from your boot list twice in a row, you will be removed from the game.
The most important rule: HAVE FUN!
